Lulu Pantin is the Owner/Founder of loop legal and an experienced attorney in the music industry with a focus on talent-side transactional work and the protection and monetization of intellectual property. A graduate of Yale Law School, in 2022 Pantin launched loop legal in Silverlake, located in the east-central neighborhood of Los Angeles, positioning herself as the youngest woman to own her own firm in the music industry.

Lulu began her training in the Department of Justice Computer Crimes and IP Section, with a subsequent clerkship at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in their IP Transactions group under David Kappos (former Director of the USPTO). She has accumulated over a decade of experience in intellectual property litigation and transactional work, predominantly at prominent talent-targeted boutiques.

Lulu’s practice focuses on advising high-profile clientele on touring, recording agreements, catalog sales, and overall business strategy. She also works with authors and represents executives in the negotiation of their employment agreements with companies. A few of the prominent artists, producers, and songwriters Lulu works with include Thundercat, Flying Lotus, Eddie Benjamin, Trackside, Danny Parra, and Georgia Ku. Expanding representation at loop legal, Lulu is now including entrepreneurs and executives in the visual arts, culinary arts, and natural wine spaces.

Lulu was included on Billboard’s 2021 Top Music Lawyers list while at Myman Greenspan Fox Rosenburg Mobasser Younger & Light. She has been featured on TMZ and HITS Daily Double.

A classically trained musician with a degree in psychology from UCLA, Lulu’s unique value proposition is her insight into and empathy for the artist’s experience. As a Los Angeles transplant and proud Cuban-American, Lulu will always call Miami, Florida home.
